The Small Business Assistance Centers receive partial funding from the National Institute for Standards and Technology Manufacturing Extension Partnership, the Small Business Administration and the Defense Logistics Agency, respectively. Their primary mission is to enhance the competitive position of the state's manufacturing sector by working with a wide range of industrial firms, delivering training, providing technical assistance and implementing best business practices.
